Prof. Utpal Chattopadhyay is currently Professor (Finance, Economics & Strategy Area) at IIM Mumbai. Earlier, he had worked with National Productivity Council (NPC), New Delhi and Indian School of Mines (now IIT-ISM), Dhanbad.
Prof. Chattopadhyay holds Ph.D. in Economics from Delhi University and M.Sc. (Economics) from Calcutta University. He has been trained by the Tokyo based Asian Productivity Organization (APO) and NPC India on productivity measurement, inter-firm comparison, knowledge management, copyright & IPR, social accountability standards etc.
Prof. Chattopadhyay teaches Managerial Economics, Macroeconomics, Strategic Management, Economics of Strategy, International Economics and his research interests include areas like Economic Environment of Business, Globalization & Global Competitiveness, Strategic Alliances, MSMEs. Prof. Chattopadhyay has vast experience in management consultancy, and he is a regular faculty in almost all Management Development Programmes (MDPs) and other executive education programmes offered by IIM Mumbai.

Prof. Poonam Singh is a highly accomplished academic and researcher with expertise in Behavioural Finance, Corporate Governance, Economics, Financial Modelling, Public Policy, and Strategy. Her research spans Behavioural Corporate Finance, Competition Policy, Corporate Governance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and MSMEs, leading to numerous international journal publications. Her professional involvement extends to sponsored and consulting projects for governmental bodies, such as the Ministry of Finance, SEBI, NSE, BSE, the Competition Commission of India (CCI), and various corporate organizations. Prof. Singh holds a PhD from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) in Mumbai and was a Doctoral Research Scholar at the University of Hamburg through the EU’s Asia Link Sandwich Programme. K.S. Ranjani is an Assistant Professor in Finance and Accounting at NITIE, Mumbai. A Fellow Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with over 20 years of experience spanning industry and academia, she holds a Ph.D. in Commerce focused on microfinance and financial inclusion. Her research interests include microfinance, financial inclusion, corporate finance, sustainable finance, and management control systems. She has published extensively in reputed journals and presented at international conferences, contributing to areas such as mission drift in MFIs, investment decisions of Indian firms, and sustainable practices in supply chains.

Mainak Mazumdar is a faculty member at NITIE Mumbai specializing in industrial economics, productivity analysis, and innovation studies.
